The sensational and explosive British-Norwegian guitar hero Krissy Matthews is returning to Europe this spring with a brand new band, a masterpiece new album and a totally new show concept!

On this tour, he will be celebrating his new album by bringing some of his friends along.

On Friday May 10, Krissy will host his album launch party in none other than Ruf Records hometown Lindewerra at Gemeindesaal!

He will perform with his powerful trio and an array of incredible guests.

These include the Hamburg Blues Band front man and founding member Gert Lange, vocal dynamite from Norwegian rock band Pristine Heidi Solheim, the British Eddie van Halen of harmonica Will Wilde, the up and coming British female talents of Jess Hayes and Marlia Rae and the very talented Malcolm Bruce whose father is none other than the late great Jack Bruce of Cream fame.

May 10 sees the brand new Ruf Records release "Krissy Matthews and Friends".

A monster album which is a whose who of the blues and rock scene which took Krissy one year to produce!

Friends on the album include rap metal giants Clawfinger, the god of hellfire Arthur Brown, the voice Chris Farlowe, Germany's soul queen Inga Rumpf, legendary singer songwriter Stoppok, the iconic Hamburg Blues Band, monster drummers Dennis Chambers & Curt Cress, Blues singing dynamite Big Daddy Wilson, guitar heroes Clem Clempson, Siggi Schwarz, Kai Strauss, Miller Anderson, Eric Steckel & Danny Bryant, the beautiful voices of Erja Lyytinen, Alice Armstrong, Layla Zoe, Vanja Sky, Heidi Solheim, Kim Jennett, Marlia Rae, Dani Wilde, Whitney Shay & Cherry Lee Mewis, Harmonica royalty Will Wilde, Jimmy Z & Giles Robson and many more talented musicians!

Krissy shared the stage when he was 12 years old with the Godfather of British Blues John Mayall, received career advice from BB King when he was 15 and is the last musician to perform in the UK on stage together with the late great Jeff Healey. Krissy Matthews has performed thousands of shows across USA/China/Europe sharing the stage with artists such as Toto, Graveyard, Joe Bonamassa, Gregg Allmann, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Beth Hart and Joe Satriani.
